At S&S Firewood, working with wood isn’t just a business—it’s something we've done for generations. From cutting and splitting logs to warming our homes with the firewood we produced, it’s a way of life we’ve always loved.
The idea to turn that passion into a business began when we came across a great deal on local logging job. We cut, split, and sold the firewood—and it sold out quickly. That early success led us to rent a firewood processor to meet demand. As sales grew, we decided to invest in our own equipment and expand, not just by offering quality firewood but also by renting out the very tools we once relied on ourselves.
Today, our operation includes full firewood sales, custom processing, and professional-grade equipment rentals, all grounded in our love for the work and commitment to doing it right.
Who We Are
S&S Firewood is a family-run business founded by Perry, whose drive to stay busy after retirement turned into a successful venture. His son, Colby, plays an essential role in the day-to-day—from processor deliveries and rental agreements to helping the business grow with fresh ideas and hands-on support.
Together, we bring years of experience, mechanical know-how, and a shared commitment to producing firewood you can count on.
What Quality Means to Us
To us, quality firewood means it’s clean, dry, and ready to burn. We take the time to properly season all of our wood—typically for a year or more—and regularly test moisture levels to ensure optimal burn quality.
We also go the extra mile to keep your firewood clean and presentable: once split, our firewood never touches the ground—it’s dropped onto raised wood bases to prevent contamination with dirt and mud. Every piece we deliver is chosen to impress, not frustrate.
